Dr. Casey Boyer earned her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois in 2025. After spending a year in Wisconsin, she decided to return to the East Coast to be closer to her sisters and parents and found her new home at Newport Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Boyer first became interested in veterinary medicine in high school after taking an animal science elective. What started as a favorite class soon became the career she wanted to pursue. Today, she especially enjoys being a resource for pet owners and working with them to provide the best possible care for their pets.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Boyer enjoys reading on her Kindle with one of her three cats curled up nearby and playing pickleball in the evenings.
